All clients are welcome to a free consultation, however those clients requiring a chemical process of any type – colour, bleach, perming or straightening – require a patch test at least 48 hours prior to their booking as it is a legal requirement in the UK.

Once known your stylist can make the correct decision regarding what processes should and shouldn’t be done. Eg. a keratin straightening or smoothing treatment would not be recommended if you swim every day.
Highlighting your hair means using bleach which is a corrosive product designed to restructure the internal make up of your hair. This often leaves the hair fragile especially in extreme lightening. It is essential that you are aware of this and protect your hair with the recommended professional shampoo, conditioner and mask as well as a thermal heat protect.
Toners are demi permanent and need to be topped up in the salon in-between your highlighting appointments.
Muk hybrid pigment technology has an ultra-low ammonia content which reduces damage to the hair, however with any chemical process the structure of the hair is changed and correct home hair care is essential.
We offer Semi & Demi & Permanent; colour potions depending on your colour requirements as well as colour balance and colour glossing.
Direct dyes and fashion shades can stain and may not come fully out of the hair at your salon visit. Be aware of this for pillows and bathrobes. As much as we do try to avoid it, staining is common.
To protect your hair from colour fade and everyday damage, professional salon shampoos and conditioners are required. Your colour and hair condition are both in jeopardy when using non-professional products. We are happy to advise according to your hair type & requirements.
Most people need more than just a conditioner and should be using a weekly deep treatment or mask to boost the moisture balance in your hair. Professional treatments are available for your specific needs.
To maintain healthy hair, an in salon K18 treatment is highly recommended every 8 weeks. K18 is scientifically proven to both strengthen and repair damaged hair. This is a priority for highlighted and very damaged hair.
Always use a professional Heat Protection on your hair before blow-drying or applying any heat tools (and use as little heat as possible to maintain the integrity of your hair).
